Dubai, UAE: RSA Middle East has partnered with Emirates Red Crescent this Ramadan to make a difference in communities through donating iftar meals to families in need.
The donation drive, run by Emirates Red Crescent, is amongst the many charity programs launched during this month to support this year’s 1 Billion Meals initiative, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, providing one billion meals to those in need across 50 countries.

Martin Rueegg, CEO of RSA Middle East said: “Ramadan is a month of prayer and giving. The month is ideal for families and friends to get together and give back to the community through empathy, kindness, and charity.” He added: “Thanks to Emirates Red Crescent’s network and support, our employees were able to make donations seamlessly to provide iftar meals to those in need as well as provide donations in a form of supply boxes.”

In just two weeks, RSA Middle East was able to provide over 1,000 iftar meals which will be distributed to families in need through Emirates Red Crescent. Overall, over 2 million people have benefited from Emirates Red Crescent initiatives in the UAE and across 64 countries.
