It’s heating up in the UAE, but there are plenty of ways to enjoy the summer within the comforts of your home. So, let’s look at some fun activities to do at home this summer that will create lasting joyful memories for your family.

Cooking is a great indoor activity that gets kids of all ages involved. Have fun preparing a meal, or even bake some desserts. The best part of family cooking is eating the treats you’ve made together!

Indoor picnic

Plan a fun lunch this summer. Prep your sandwiches and make your own ice lollies for the indoor picnic. Lay the blankets on the floor just like you would outside! Listen to music, play games and enjoy the family fun.

Movie time

Summers are the best time to watch movies. Let the afternoon turn to evening while you watch movies with a cosy set up. Or you could even spend hours rehearsing and making your own movie at home.

Get creative

Bring out the artist in your child with arts and crafts activities. Go beyond colouring pencils and make fun from waste items such as cardboard and plastic.

These entertaining activities help beat the summer heat and make your home a happy place for your family. To secure your home’s happiness, make sure you have a home insurance cover  that can help to safeguard your home against any unforeseen incidents.
